夫婦でさをり織り。 a husband and a wife weave

さをり織りで、のれんをつくりたい、
という女性。
ワークショップの予約もされたのですが、
下見に、来ました…と、
おっしゃいました。
遠方から来られたことですし、
せっかくですから、
ためしに、さをり織りの機に
さわってみませんか？
ということで、
ご主人も、いっしょにさをり織りを
体験されました。
The woman wants to make shop curtain by SAORI-ORI.
She was going to join the workshop of SAORI-ORI,
so she wanted to see BIGLABO before.
She drove long way, so I suggested her to try weaving.
Then she and her husband come to the room of SAORI-ORI.

ご主人の工夫。
糸をはさみこんで、アルファベットを
織りこまれました。
どうやったら、字になるか！？
思案をつくしての、作品です。
The husband's idea.
He wove alphabet by yarn.
How could it be?
He thought in depth.

世界にたった一枚の、オリジナルな布を
おみやげに、帰られました。
ありがとうございました!!

さて、今日は、木彫フォークアートおおやの
授賞式がありました。
広瀬栄（ひろせ・さかえ）市長のスピーチで、はじめて
ここBIGLABOを知った、訪ねてみようと思った、
というお客さまも、ご来場されました。
By the way,
the award ceremony of Wood Carving Folk Art was held in Ooya Hall today.
The mayor Sakae HIROSE made a speech,
by his speech some got to know about BIGLABO and visited here.
We appreciate all about today.

「いい場所ですねぇ、きれいなところですねぇ」
というお言葉もいただきました。

"What a peaceful place here, so beautiful!"
