さをり織りの定番。 workshop for mother & daughter

初めてのさをり織り、母と娘。
という組み合わせは、何度目でしょうか。
講師は、勝純美（かつ・すみ）先生です。
First SAORI-ORI weaving by a mother & her daughter, again!
The teacher is Sumi KATSU.

今日のさをり織りのワークショップも、
なごやかで、心地良いものでした。
また、今回のワークショップ期間中、
勝先生のゲストとして滞在しておられる、
中国からの留学生さんが、
助手をつとめてくださっています。
おかげさまで、話題もグローバル！
They looked to have a happy and peaceful time.
Sumi KATSU has a guest from China who joinned the workshop as an assistant.
Thanks to her, they got a chance to know about China more!

ひとあし先に、織り上げたお母さまが、
お嬢さんを見守るの図。
The mother finished her work,
she saw her daughter weaving.

今日は、雨のなごりで涼しく、
部屋のなかも快適です。
お嬢さんは、配色にこだわって、
ていねいに織り進めています。
It was not hot in the room today.
The daughter was weaving carefully,
she enjoyed to chose colors of yarns.

お嬢さんの使用した糸は赤系統。
異国情緒のある雰囲気です。
お嬢さんは、お母さまが使用された糸を、
仕上げにもってこられました。
「お母さんがさっき使ってた糸を使いたいんだけど、どれだった？」
「ああ、これよ、これ」
という、なにげないやりとりに、じーんとしました。
The yarns that the daughter used for the woof,
she likes red.
Her choice is kind of exotic.
She used the yarn that her mother had used before her at the end of her work.
"Which is your using red, Mother? I want to use it."
"Here you are."
They talk in a peaceful atmosphere,
it is so touching.

織り上げたあとは、
機からぬいて、残った縦糸を、
フリンジにむすんで、仕上げます。
ごく自然に、お嬢さんの布のフリンジを
手伝う、お母さま。
After weaving,
they took the cloth of the loom
and tyed the warp into fringe.
The mother naturally helped her daughter's work.

完成したおふたりの記念撮影を
させていただきました!!
お母さまの布は、室内装飾用、
お嬢さんのは、さっそく羽織って帰られました。
