マラソン大会 long distance race

町内の小学校、明日が
マラソン大会です。
５年生、６年生が、
男子と女子にわかれて、
走ります。
あゆ公園までの１．５キロメートルが、
女子のコース。
School students will have long distance race tomorrow.
5th graders and 6th wil run the distance for boys or girls.
1.5 km is the distance for the girls from BIGLABO to Ayu Park.

小学生たちは、この何日か、BIGLABOのグラウンドで
練習をかさねていました。
School students prepared for the race this 2 weeks.

準備運動のあと、女子がスタート。
自転車の先生の先導で、
走りますが、速い！
先生を追い越しそうなスピードで、
あっというまに、走ってかえってきました。
女子が走っているあいだ、水路をのぞきこんだり、
小田和正の歌を歌ったりしていた男子たちは、
バンザイ＆拍手で、
むかえます。
After warming up, girls ran.
Teacher on bike leaded the lane of girls,
but girls ran so fast that some of them passed the teacher and came back to BIGLABO.
While girls were on the race,
boys were hanging around and enjoyed watching the bottom of the creek and singing a song by Oda Kazumasa.
And then girls returned, boys gave cheers and clapped for them.

そして、男子のスタート。
先生に、写真撮影を許可させていただきましたが、
速すぎて、ぜんぜん写真が撮れませんでした!!
携帯カメラをかまえた時にはもう、全員、
ビッグラボのそとの歩道を疾走していました。
Boys' run.
I tried to take photo by the teachers' allowance,
but I could not take photoes of boys runnning, so fast!!
When I put my camera up, they all had already been running on the sidewalk out of BIGLABO!

かえってきた、男子。
本気でゴールを目指します。
Now they are coming!
Very serious!!

明日、晴れることを願っています。
小学生ランナーさんたち、
がんばってくださいね。
いい大会になりますように。
