春色の布を、織る favorite color

午後のワークショップにむけて、
勝純美（かつ・すみ）先生は、
機に縦糸をかけて、準備しています。
Sumi KATSU prepares the loom to set the warp.
The workshop of SAORI-ORI weaving will be in the afternoon.

それにしても、勝先生は、いつもおしゃれ。
手づくりのすてきな服をまとっています。
She is always nice in beautiful dress made by herself.

今日の、さをり織りワークショップの参加者は、ふたり。
でも、さをり織りの教室をおとずれて、
おしゃべりや交流をたのしんでいかれるひとも、
多いです。
2 joinned the workshop of SAORI-ORI weaving by Sumi KATSU.
And more visit to talk together.

さをり織りの服を、試着しています。
They are trying some clothes of SAORI-ORI in front of the mirror.
手織りの布の服は、どうやら、
男性よりも、女性のほうが好きらしいです。
It seems that handweaving clothes are popular among women.

春のような色合いの布。
Spring has come to her cloth.

おふたりは、同じ色の縦糸をつかっていますが、
横糸はそれぞれ、好きな色をえらんだため、
まったくちがう布に。
できた布でなにをつくるか、
考えるのも楽しい作業です。
Their loom had same color of the warps,
but they chose defferent color for each woof,
so they both has the original cloth.
It is fun to imagine what the cloth will became.

完成！
笑顔で、
「元気で、しあわせにやっています」
ということを、たいせつなかたに、
つたえたい、とおっしゃいました。
Finished their works!
She would like to send a message to her dears,
'I am happy, am going well' with smile.
