懐かしいものごと。 dear old memories

展示場の創作スペースに、
旬の素材が、はいっています。
どんぐり。
サクラのえだ。
毛糸に、布。
どんぐりは、こどもに人気ですが、
おとなが見ても、記憶が刺激されて、
懐かしいようです。
「むかし、どんぐりで、やじろべえをつくった」
「ダンジ（注：但馬地方の方言で、イタドリのこと）で水車をつくった」
などと、語りあうかたも。
In the exhibition hall there is a space for handicraft,
and there, we supply materials of autumun--tree nuts, branches of cherry blossoms, yarns and cloth.
Children like tree nuts and older like, too,
because tree nuts remind them their childhood.
"I made balancing toys by tree nuts."
"I made water wheels by DANJI/DANJI is ITADORI in Tajima dialect."

初夏のころ、はっとりさんが植えた畑からは、
たくさん、ごろごろと
いもがとれました!!
玄関先に、ほしています。
奈良からおとずれたお客さまが、見て、
「いもは、収穫してすぐは甘くない。
　２週間くらいして、甘くなってくる」
と、教えてくださいました。
They got so many sweet potatoes in the field where Mr.Hattori had farmed in early summer.
They put sweet potatoes at the entrance to make them dry.
A visitor told that sweet potatoes become sweeter after 2 weeks or more,
they are not sweet just after harvest.

こども工作室にて。
電子ピアノを弾いているひと。
ペダルのベースも使って、
讃美歌や、懐かしい唱歌などの演奏を
楽しんでおられました。
ピアノを弾いているひとって、
綺麗です。
昔、小学校の女の先生に憧れたのも、
ピアノを弾いてくれたからかも、しれない。
At the handicraft room for children.
She enjoyed playing hymns and songs for schoolchildren.
I am always charmed by who are playing the piano.
I think that I liked teacher at elementary school because of her piano.

「はるかなるスワニー河」をリクエストしたら、
弾いてくださいました。
She played Old Folks at Home(Swanee River) for me.

思いがけなく、ひとびとのさまざまな記憶や音楽に、
ふれる秋の日でした。
I have not expected that this day would be such a beautiful one full with memories and music.
