中学生の陶芸教室 Junior high school students in pottery class

市内の中学生３０人ほどが、ビッグラボへ
やってきました。
今日は、陶芸教室です。
About 30 students from a junior high school in Yabu City came to BIGLABO.
We have pottery class for them today.

くつをそろえたり、講師の井上奏（いのうえ・そう）先生の話を
聞いたりするときの、真面目さ。
They were very serious and polite while the instructor Sou INOUE explained and showed how to shape the clay into vessel.

さっと腕まくりして、土をさわります。
おおやの子は、賢いなぁ、と思わされました。
地域のたからものです。
They rolled up their their sleeves and began to touch the clay.
They are pretty smart.
The students are already good human resources in this small town.

一時間くらいたったころ。
教室は、どんなふうでしょうか？
1 hour later, how is going on in the classroom?

リラックス＆集中、いい雰囲気です！
They are engaged shaping clay and completely relaxed!

ぞくぞくと、個性的な作品が、創られていきます!!
端正なふたつきの器、ゾウやカメなどのフィギュアをつくるひと、
漬物をのせたくなるようないい味のお皿など。
The young artists were making lots of works, they are so unique!
Beautiful vessels with covers, cute figures/elephant, tortoise, dish looked nice for TSUKEMONO.

かえるとき、キラッキラの笑顔で、
「ありがとうございましたー！！」
と大きな声であいさつして、手をふってくれました。
They waved their hands and said in cheerful voices,
“Thank you!!”
They had shining smiles on their faces when they were gone.
土にさわって思い切り創作したあとの、
爽快な表情、たのしそうな笑顔。
They enjoyed the work of pottery, their bright faces letted us happy, too.
こちらこそ、ありがとうございました。
きっと、すてきなおとなになるでしょう、このひとたち。
