華汀のアート・干支のはんこづくり　seal-engraving

ワークショップ workshop

書道家の前田華汀（まえだ・かてい）先生の、
てんこくのワークショップがありました。
干支（えと）のはんこを、彫ります。
好きな石を選んで、それを専用の篆刻（てんこく）刀で彫ります。
Katei MAEDA/calligrapher had a workshop at BIGLABO.
They tried seal-engraving.
They chose the stones and engraved by cutters for TENKOKU seals.

約２時間かけて、来年の干支、「午」（うま）を
彫りあげた参加者は、
「これを、年賀状に使います」
と笑顔でした。
They engraved horse in KANJI on stones, it took 2 hours.
Horse is the next year's sign in Chinese astrology.
They are content with their works, they said,
“I will write new year cards with this engraving.”
