茜染めのくくり染め。　botanical dyeing

ワークショップ workshop

市内の団体さまが、染色のワークショップに
来られました。
Workshop of dyeing today.
They live in Yabu City.

まずは、大屋富士男校長先生といっしょに、
記念撮影。
みなさん、いい笑顔をなさっています！
At first they wanted to take photo with Mt.Ooya-fuji.
Beautiful smiles!

どの色がいいかしら、
ろうけつ染め？　絞り染め、くくり染め？
などと、見本を手に取りつつ、
真剣に検討されています。
布を見るときのひとの顔って、美しいです。
Which color will I try?
Batik? Tie-dyeing?
They are thinking seriously looking at the pattern clothes.
I always feel people's faces looking at cloth are all beautiful.

みなさん、「茜染め」に決定。
They desided to try botanical dye to mudder.

講師は、戸川勝義（とがわ・かつよし）先生と、戸川万恵（とがわ・かずえ）先生です。
The teacher of dyeing:Katsuyoshi Togawa and Kazue Togawa.

途中経過は見られませんでしたが、
最後に記念写真をいただきました。
みんな、茜染めのハンカチ、同じ、くくり染めの技法なのに、
それぞれ個性のある作品を仕上げられました！
みなさん、すてきな笑顔です！
約１時間半くらいだったでしょうか。

They dyed handkerchief in mudder, by tie-dyeing, their processes are all same, but each of them is all different work, so interesting!
Their smiling faces made me happy.
Dyeing about 1 and a half hour today.
